A Detailed Biography of the Enlightened Master
Kinaram Baba, popularly known as Bhagwan Shri Kinaram, was a renowned saint of India. Born in 1641, he belonged to the Nath Sampradaya and was an enlightened master who had attained “moksha” or liberation from worldly life. He is considered one of the greatest saints in Indian history and his teachings have been followed by millions of people around the world.
He was born in a small village called Dhaka near Ujjain in Madhya Pradesh. He was raised by his parents with great love and care and received traditional education from childhood.
At the age of twenty-five, he left his home to seek spiritual knowledge under various gurus. After travelling for 7 years across India, he settled at Gadi Sagar temple complex near Ujjain where he practiced meditation and other spiritual disciplines.
It is said that while meditating one day, he experienced divine enlightenment and attained ‘nirvana’ (the highest state of consciousness). After this experience, he began preaching his knowledge to others through discourses on universal truths such as karma, reincarnation and moksha.

Kinram Baba believed that all souls were equal before God regardless of their caste or creed. He taught that service to humanity was service to God. Over time, more disciples joined him at Gadi Sagar Temple Complex which became known as “Kinaram Ashram” where thousands flocked from all over India for guidance.
